Not gonna lie, being enjoying this storyboard/deleted scenes from Teenage Kraken and everything about them feels… Just Better by a wide margin! the scenes feel grounded, well-paced, entertaining, fun, and serious when it needs to be. This one even confirms that Chelsea was meant to be the Mermaid Queen’s daughter! Her motivation was revenge and not just power for the sake of it.
Not sure why I’m getting so invested in this, guess the fact of this movie having wasted their opportunity to actually be good, even remarkably is… infuriating.
